Dinner's ready!

Level 3
puppies feet

Note: The characters in this story bear no intentional resemblance to any person or animal living or dead (especially me!).

Yesterday we drove to the beach in her car. It was such a lovely day that I put my head out of the open window so I could see better. It felt so good to have the breeze in my face. At the beach we played frisbee; we are an expert team, she and I. Later, she shared her ice-cream with me and we played in the sea, splashing each other; I got so wet and sandy. I fell asleep with my head on her lap. I love her so much and I know she loves me just as much.

Tomorrow, we might go for a walk together in the local park. I often bump into my friends there, and we have a great time. The park is such fun, I love all the trees, the wide expanse of grass, and the fresh air. But now, I'm in the living room, on the floor under the front window, letting the late afternoon sun warm my body. I lead a lucky life, I have everything I need. She is in the kitchen preparing dinner, it's almost ready, it smells like beef.

A take a short nap and am awoken when she calls out to me, "Dinner's ready, come and get it!". I stand up and run into the kitchen; I'm so hungry. She strokes my head and places two bowls on the floor next to my water. One bowl has some tasty, crunchy biscuits, the other has my dinner. I wag my tail at her and eat everything in twenty seconds. I love my owner, and she loves me.
